Cohen is the founder and permanent chairman of the Annual Southern Regional Entertainment, Sports, & Intellectual Property Law Conference, which has been held offshore annually since 1987. It is often referred to as the Tri-State Conference for Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee.

The conference presents distinguished lecturers and panelists on the ever changing aspects of entertainment law.

The 2008 conference is scheduled for November 11-16 at the Fiesta Americana Grand Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
